You know the story: A strange, big country somewhere in the north, great landscapes with spruces and pines, lakes surrounded by birches, everything under the eternal sun of the summer or covered with the abysmal blackness of the winter. And somewhere there in the depthness of all those green forests and grey barrens is a man sitting, with his guitar, singing out the blue from within.

This ain't no forest folk – 'tis forest blues.

Kyllähän te tarinan tiedätte: Outo, suuri maa jossain pohjoisessa, laajoja kuusi- ja mäntymaisemia, koivujen ympäröimiä järviä, kaikki tämä joko kesän ikuisen auringon alla tai talven loputtoman synkkyyden peitossa. Ja jossain kaikkien noiden vihreiden metsien ja harmaiden karuuksien syövereissä istuu mies, kitaransa kanssa, ja laulaa ulos sinisyyttä sisältään.
